Our residents enjoy the convenience of using on-site services so they can maximize their time doing the things they enjoy like volunteering in the community, reading, perfecting their backstroke, creating ceramics and pottery, and much more – alone or together with other seniors!
Our chapel provides a quiet space for prayer and reflection. It is available for small worship services, weddings, memorials and bible study. La Vida Llena recognizes all faiths and provides regular Catholic and Interfaith services on a weekly basis which include Holy Communion and Eucharist served several times each month.
The computer lab is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Full internet access is available as well as access to Microsoft Office Suite and laser printing. Wi-fi is also available throughout La Vida Llena for your own personal computer use as well.
We also offer frequent computer classes and a computer expert to help with specific issues.
Two days each week, a computer system analyst is on-site to assist residents with email, internet and general computer issues. This expert can also help with basic computer troubleshooting, upgrades, and software installation and provide personalized training.
A great way to kickstart your La Vida Llena day is a morning or afternoon workout at one of our two fitness centers. With a certified trainer and state-of-the-art equipment, our fitness centers provide a dynamic and supportive environment for working out on your own or with friends. Each resident can have a personalized fitness program designed at no additional cost.
Classes such as aerobics and Tai Chi are designed to provide maximum benefit while being very gentle on the joints. We offer fitness classes led by professional instructors Monday – Saturday, with multiple options on weekdays.

La Vida Llena offers four restaurants, three sit-down options with menu service as well as buffet style dining for your convenience. The fourth option is a cafe with quick grab-and-go options throughout the day.
All restaurants offer breakfast, lunch and dinner in flexible blocks of time to allow for independent schedules so you can continue to enjoy an active retirement lifestyle and have dinner ready when you are.
The La Vida Llena retirement community has our very own in-house TV Channel! We offer residents the unique opportunity to communicate and connect with the entire residential community via participating in live broadcasts and special programming! We air community news, interviews with residents and community discussions. We produce a weekly showcase about the current happenings at La Vida Llena and resident events around town. The TV Studio is also available for residents to record video greetings to send to family or friends.
There are three libraries at La Vida Llena, one in each building (Main Campus, Alta Vista, Nueva Vista.) Each library is run on the honor system, each resident self-checks out books, videos, magazines and newspapers. The libraries are also a great place to sit and read. Resident volunteer librarians periodically go through the inventory and donate books and items that are no longer being read, and process new donations into circulation.

La Vida Llena has many resident artists and hobbyists. Some of the resources provided are a ceramics studio (with a kiln), an art room (for painting and crafts), a fiber arts room with a weaving loom (also resources for knitting and crocheting) and a unique model railroad room. There is also a dedicated Art Studio that serves as a gallery and has rotating fine arts displays.
The workshop is dedicated to woodworking and repairs. Some activities in the past have included: Instrument repair, creating toys for kids, whittling, creating signs, etc.
There are two pools at La Vida Llena, one on the Main Campus and one at Nueva Vista. Both are indoors, heated, and have hot tubs. There are daily open swim times and fitness classes offered in the pools as well.
Classes such as aquatic exercise are designed to provide maximum benefit while being very gentle on the joints. We offer a choice of coed, women’s or men’s aquatics classes.

Amazing hair for our amazing residents. We have two full-service salons: One in Nueva Vista and one in main campus of La Vida Llena. Our four full-time staff have great energy and passion for being of service to their clients. The salon provides services for male and female hair, head massage, and manicures and pedicures. We are open 9A-5P Monday – Friday, making scheduling easy for your weekly, bi-weekly or monthly appointments.

The Market Place is on the Main Campus and is part of the Corner Café. It is a great place to pick up last-minute necessities items like toilet paper, greetings cards, mints or other various miscellaneous items that you might need for your apartment.
The garden courtyard in between buildings is the home of varied large permanent sculpture pieces, all donated by residents over the years. This garden is a wonderful place to walk and enjoy nature, or sit and read a book – the perfect addition to a complete adult community.
Finding and spending time with new senior friends is the culture that has been cultivated by residents at La Vida Llena. The activities, amenities and services offered at La Vida Llena provide a natural space to meet new people, and the friendliness of the residents speaks for itself.
Friday and Saturday at the Movies
La Vida Llena screens weekly movies for residents on Friday nights at Nueva Vista and on Saturday afternoons in our Carter Hall. With a mix of classics and new films, enjoy a movie experience without driving somewhere or buying tickets! We also provide popcorn!
