Part I: We thoroughly enjoyed the trip to see "Destination: Mars" at the New Mexico Museum and Planetarium.
We arrived 40 min early so we had time to explore some of the geological exhibits in the NM Museum of Natural History beforehand. There is a fabulous, new exhibit which includes an interactive display of the ancient supercontinent, Panagea, comprising all the present continents joined together, which began to break up about 200 million years ago. You can move a cursor along a time line and see how Panagea moved, split up, and the pieces moved to their current locations.All the fossils of plants and animals, dinosaurs on display in the Museum were found in New Mexico, a special feature of the Museum. - Thank you Lanie D.! ...
